Our love story:
Dan and I met with a lucky swipe during the second lockdown. We're both documentary filmmakers and instantly connected through our love for films, storytelling, travel and art! I am from Mexico and he's from London, so our paths seemed to have been fated from the very beginning.
Our engagement story:
Dan proposed to me on our first trip together to Mexico. We went to a coffee plantation glamping experience, and he gave me the ring during the golden hour with a wonderful view of the mountainous jungle.

I love brands that are sustainable and eco-conscious of the environment, so my affinity to Catherine Deane was there from the beginning!

I went to the London Boutique in Wapping. The place is beautiful and very ad hoc to add on to the magic of initiating a bridal journey.
Tell us about your Wedding Venue:
Our wedding venue was a wonderful Mexican Hacienda (old large estate house) in the middle of the mountainous jungle in the west coast of Mexico. The location was spectacular as we had the view of the sea, the mountains and the jungle, all in one! The name: Hacienda Antigua
Wedding style: Mexican Chic
Our most memorable moment:
Preparing everything on our own. From production design to making our own bridal and bridesmaids bouquets (I and even did my own makeup and hair on the day!). I loved infusing every detail with my own energy and putting my (and our) creativity into our special day.
Our funniest moment:
Probably the dancing! Nobody can resist dancing until the end of the night in a Mexican wedding!
