Matt proposed on Hampstead Heath on a beautiful wintery, sunny day in March. It was simple, thoughtful and perfectly us.

I wore the Eva Bandeau in crepe paired with the Les Skirt.

What does it mean to you to be a Catherine Deane Bride / Why did you fall in love with the brand?
For me, it was all about simple elegance. I loved how effortless the pieces felt while still feeling incredibly special.
Tell us about your bridal accessories (think shoes, hair accessories, and your bridal fragrance) and what drew you to these.
I chose pink shoes as I wanted a subtle pop of colour, but also something comfortable, as I couldn’t find any white ones that felt right. My sister did my hair and added a few pearls to tie in with my pearl sleeves and earrings. I added pearl-studded sleeves to elevate the look slightly while keeping the base outfit simple. I also wore pearl Lily & Roo earrings, which were a gift from my bridesmaids.
Did you have a specific theme/color palette for your wedding day - if so, what drew you to this mood?
Peach became the main colour, inspired by the bridesmaid dresses. It felt fresh, summery and worked beautifully with the outdoor setting.
How did you decide that your wedding venue was the one?
We got married at my parents’ house in their field. Both my sisters had done the same, so I already knew how special it could be. I wanted the day to feel relaxed and personal, and it was exactly that.
After going through the wedding planning and gown shopping journey, what advice do you have for future brides?
It’s lovely to have input from the people around you, but ultimately trust your own instinct. Not everyone will always agree with your choices, and that’s okay. If you love something, that’s all that matters.
What is the most memorable moment from your wedding day?
We took our golden hour photos in a wheat field just across the road. It was such a magical, quiet moment together as newlyweds, and one I’ll never forget.
