COME WITH US TO BARCELONA BRIDAL FASHION WEEK 2025!

There’s something truly electric about bridal trade shows and Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week 2025 was no exception. As one of the biggest wedding industry events in our calendar, it offers the perfect opportunity for our team to meet with international stockists, present our latest collections, and immerse ourselves in the beauty and buzz of what’s trending in the bridal fashion space. We followed our lovely Zun around to get a behind-the-scenes glimpse into what a day at the show really looks like - along with her favourite moments, standout trends, and what’s inspiring her now as she returns home to our brides.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AT THE BARCELONA BRIDAL WEEK... 

6:45am – The day kicks off bright and early. After getting ready for the day, it's time to head down to breakfast to ensure we stay fueled for the day ahead. 

8:45am – We walk over to the venue and head straight to our stand. First order of business? Perfecting the display. We make sure the rails look fresh and ready, our video is looping beautifully to showcase the upcoming Garden of Eden collection, and that our models are dressed in their first looks. 

9:00am – Doors open and the buzz begins! From morning till evening, we welcome a steady stream of scheduled appointments with our cherished existing stockists as well as new faces excited to discover our brand. We showcase our signature mix-and-match bridal separates, talk through our latest designs, and create space for honest, valuable feedback. 

Throughout the day, we take turns to slip away to grabbing a quick coffee, scout out new trends, or walking the floor with our models to spark connections with potential new clients. It’s fast-paced, exciting, and totally collaborative! Like a well-oiled bridal machine, our team tags in and out to make sure every visitor feels seen and valued. 

6:00pm – As the day winds down, we wrap up our last appointments and prepare to close the stand by 7pm. 

Evening – Back to the hotel for a quick change, and then it’s time to unwind over team dinners featuring local tapas, laughter, and yes, plenty of sangria! These moments, away from the stand, are some of our favourites - recharging, reconnecting, and celebrating the wins of the day

BRIDAL TREND REPORT: WHAT’S HOT IN BRIDAL FOR 25/26 

Trade shows are not just about selling—they’re about seeing. Our team members snuck in a few laps around the show floor and kept their eyes peeled for standout bridal trends. Here’s what caught our eyes: 

  • Cascading 3D florals – Think romantic appliqués that practically bloom off the gown. 

  • Sheer bodices & visible corsetry – A delicate yet structured silhouette, with basque waists lending a regal air. 

  • What Zun likes to call the "Bridgerton Effect" – A-line and ballgown silhouettes remain popular, evoking period drama elegance. 

  • Pastel hues & watercolour gowns – A bold, artistic direction for the whimsical bride; a touch of maximalism and soft colour that feels fresh and enchanting.

FAVOURITE MOMENTS 

Beyond the beautiful gowns and busy appointments, what made the experience truly special were the personal connections. For some of our Catherine Deane team members it was the first time meeting many of our stockists face-to-face. 

“I love meeting people and getting to know what each of our client's needs. Their feedback is gold, and I left feeling so inspired. Plus, sharing stories and laughs over dinner with the team after a long day—that’s the heart of it all.” 

BRINGING THE SHOW HOME 

This trip was more than a showcasing of what we’ve been working on. It was a reminder of what sets Catherine Deane apart. As one of the few brands championing both sustainability and bridal separates, we left feeling proud and motivated. 

“Seeing our clients in person reminded me just how unique we are in the bridal space. It’s inspired me to push further with our separates—trying new combinations and looking at our pieces with fresh eyes. And after seeing what’s out there, I can’t wait to share that renewed creativity with our brides.”
